COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROJECT

KNI’s Community Support coordinator is responsible for ensuring that any person living at KNI who wishes (or whose legal guardian wishes for them) to move from KNI to receive services from a community services provider may do so. When a person or their legal guardian expresses an interest in community services, a facilitator from the Community Support Project is assigned to coordinate the move process. The Community Support worker also coordinates requests for dental services, behavioral support services, and other assistance when such requests are received from Community Developmental Disability Organizations.
